Inspiring Faith. Growing Minds.

The Covenant School of Jacksonville provides a rigorous program designed to help students reach their full potential in Christ—from our Early Education program, where our children learn through natural characteristics of curiosity, creativity, and a sense of wonder, to our Upper School Program, where students master core knowledge and develop life skills through our core disciplines, fine arts, and athletics. Students learn to filter and apply that knowledge to collaborate, create, and effectively communicate their thoughts and ideas from a distinctive Biblical worldview.

Our curriculum is developed with an emphasis on classical education where absolutes exist to provide students the tools for intellectual growth and development, and an understanding of their Christian heritage.

Early Education

Shepherded by dedicated faculty and staff, our preschoolers experience a child-centered, hands-on environment that captivates their imagination.

Lower School

In our vibrant Lower School classrooms, students interact through engaging learning centers.

Upper School

Our Upper School rooms are subject-specific and are designed to cultivate an environment of learning consistent with our philosophy.

Upon graduation, our students are equipped

  • TO DEFEND

To defend their faith in Christian love, demonstrating a Christ-like attitude to all people.

“…but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence… “ 1 Peter 3:15

“Be diligent to present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling the word of truth.“ 2 Timothy 2:15

  • TO ENGAGE

To live out a Biblical Worldview so that they may be prepared to engage their culture with Biblically sound thoughts, ideas, and truth.

“And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, dwell on these things. The things you have learned and received and heard and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.” Philippians 4:7-9

  • TO LEARN

To be lifelong learners and faithful stewards utilizing our gifts, talents, and resources to glorify God.

“Whatever you do, do your work heartily, as for the Lord rather than for men…” Colossians 3:23)

“As each one has received a special gift, employ it in serving one another as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.” 1 Peter 4:10

  • TO SERVE

To serve others through missions locally and globally to further the Kingdom of God.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Matthew 28:19–20

“For you were called to freedom, brethren; only do not turn your freedom into an opportunity for the flesh, but through love serve one another.” Galatians 5:13

  • TO REFLECT

To intentionally seek God for continual transformation into the image of Christ.

“And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.” Romans 12:2)

“Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.” 1 Corinthians 11:1)

“Be diligent to  present yourself approved to God as a workman who does not need to be ashamed, accurately handling  the word of truth.” —2 Timothy 2:15
