Christian Education:
What’s the Return on Investment?

When you invest in classical, Christian education for your child, you are not only investing in a strong academic foundation, but you are selecting an environment designed to help shape your child's heart and soul.

We aspire to not only to provide an excellent education, but to educate students in a way that equips the entirety of their beings for success in this life - and for eternity. This critical mission has the most success when families, churches, and schools partner together to pass on Christian paideia to the next generation.

It is the desire, and the goal, of The Covenant School of Jacksonville to keep tuition as affordable as possible while strictly maintaining - and enhancing - the quality of our programs and security of our campus.

In an effort to help families keep tuition as affordable as possible, we offer the following financial assistance opportunities:

  • Step Up For Students

The Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC)/ Family Empowerment Scholarship (FES) also known as “Step Up for Students Scholarship” (K-Grade 12)

FTC and FES are state programs established to expand education opportunities for children and families that have limited financial resources and enable children to achieve a greater level of excellence in their education. Families may view income guidelines and apply for these scholarships by accessing the link listed below.

  • Variable Tuition

Variable Tuition is a sliding scale tuition rate determined by multiple factors of a family’s financial means. While every family is expected to contribute to the cost of tuition, and to support our Covenant community along the way, the Variable Tuition program offers an appropriate tuition level making a quality Christian school education accessible for families within our own community. Covenant encourages families to visit FACTS Management if they have monetary concerns about their students attending our school and follow the steps to submit an application through FACTS Grant & Aid. There is a $40 Application Fee per family.

FACTS will perform a detailed analysis to determine a family’s ability to contribute towards the cost of attendance. Covenant uses this information to determine whether Variable Tuition will be granted, and if so, what amount. Funds granted by the Tuition Assistance Committee are scholarships that do not need to be repaid.

  • Family Empowerment Scholarship for Unique Abilities

Covenant does accept the McKay and the Gardiner Scholarships if Covenant is able to educate the recipients.

Due to the nature of these scholarships, please contact our Admissions Director, Theresa Varnes, at 904-265-7474 to determine if Covenant is able to meet the needs of your student.

“The investment in our children and their development is highly important. Covenant provides them with an education that will prepare them for their future success. If you are seeking a school environment where your children can thrive, be a part of a close-knit community, and develop in their spiritual walk, this is the right place for you.”
