Coach Jamal Smith has 15 years of coaching experience, working with athletes at multiple levels of the game. From 2013–2019, he coached girls’ basketball at Paxon School for Advanced Studies, where our team finished as state runner-up in 2015. In 2024, Coach Jamal coached at Yulee Middle School, leading the boys’ basketball team to a championship.

Coach Jamal has been involved in AAU basketball for the past 13 years, helping develop young athletes; many of whom have gone on to play at the college and professional level. His passion is teaching the game, building character, and helping players grow both on and off the court.
